Requirement:
- Development of GESWT – Wireless Test Automation tool, having following features:
- Throughput analysis and Graphical representation of the throughput
- Traffic generation in the network and Configuration of the access points
- Built-in Sniffer and Automation Framework to write your own scripts to automate the test scenarios
Solution Provided:
- Basic Test Case Automation Through Scripting:
- Automation of identified test cases on 802.11-b/g card testing using SHELL Script and PERL
- Automated AP Configuration (only those APs that support Telnet) using PERL
- Automated Configuration of UUT and Third Party Stations, which works on Linux
Testing Servers By simulating clients using PERL:
- Tested FTP, DNS, DHCP etc servers using PERL socket programming
- Log files and result files generation and analysis
- AP and Client Card Configuration
