Requirement:

• Development of GESWT – Wireless Test Automation tool, having following features:
• Throughput analysis and Graphical representation of the throughput
• Traffic generation in the network and Configuration of the access points
• Built-in Sniffer and Automation Framework to write your own scripts to automate the test scenarios

Solution Provided:

• Basic Test Case Automation Through Scripting:
• Automation of identified test cases on 802.11-b/g card testing using SHELL Script and PERL
• Automated AP Configuration (only those APs that support Telnet) using PERL
• Automated Configuration of UUT and Third Party Stations, which works on Linux

Testing Servers By simulating clients using PERL:

• Tested FTP, DNS, DHCP etc servers using PERL socket programming
• Log files and result files generation and analysis
• AP and Client Card Configuration
