M P Kumar - Founder, Chairman & CEO

Kumar is the founder of the Company. Since its inception in the year 1992, he has been instrumental in spearheading the company from a 2 member team to 300+ on board now. He focuses on the Company’s growth strategy, partnerships, working with strategic investors, and building high-level customer relationships.

Kumar has a Masters Degree from Bangalore University and has over two decades of experience in the Embedded IT Industry. He has guided several startups including iNabling Technologies, Adamya, Pareeksha to name a few. He is also actively involved with several charitable causes and welfare programs. He actively participates in IT industry initiatives especially focusing on making Karnataka an IT Powerhouse.

Mahendran A - VP & Head of Delivery

Mahendran serves as the Vice President and Head of Delivery for GlobalEdge. He is the key person behind the Delivery Engine at GlobalEdge. His Technology expertise spans across areas including Wireless, Datacom, Testing and Real Time Systems. He has groomed large teams and has managed complex multi-site global projects in telecom and embedded space.

Prior to joining GlobalEdge, Mahendran was the Director (Networks Business Unit) at Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd, where he was successful and responsible in turning around the business unit in a significant way. He is an industry veteran with over 22 years of experience and holds an Engineering Degree from Madras University.

Ian Carvalho - Chief Architect

Ian heads the Technology and IP initiatives at GlobalEdge. An early employee of GlobalEdge, Ian oversees and continuously defines the technology directions of the company. He also heads the initiatives of the IP Group – from concept to post launch support. His core strengths are in Wireless, Embedded Hardware and Software.

He has over 22 years of experience in the IT space during which he has gained extensive knowledge in various technologies. His sheer passion and complete know how of the next generation technologies have helped GlobalEdge in undertaking cutting edge product engineering projects.

Ramesh D - General Manager Finance

Ramesh Heads the Finance Function at GlobalEdge and is also responsible for the Company’s Secretarial, Legal Affairs and Treasury functions. With over 20 years of experience, Ramesh is a financial management veteran who has successfully led the financial growth of reputed companies in the past.

Prior to joining GlobalEdge, Ramesh has served in various capacities at organizations like UB Group, Namaste Exports Ltd and a Multi Specialty Hospital with operations in Baharain and UK. Ramesh is a Charted Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
